What to wear to celebrate one's anniversary? Što nositi za proslavu svoje godišnjice?

You know those days when all the troubles seem so far way and happiness seems to be resting on your fingertips? As I’m sitting there, I know it is one of those days. The river Buna flows calmly by, the sun is shining and this Summer day feels absolutely perfect. Caught in the river magic, I watch time stand still for a second. There is magic in this place, of that I'm sure. Nevertheless, it is not only about that. True, I always enjoy being here, but today there is an addition reason to be joyous. Today is a day of celebration. As much as I believe that we should celebrate love every day, I still like anniversaries. The calmness of that special day. It reminds me of holidays and Christmas. There is something about having a date set up for happiness. Something calming and at the same time also festive. Akin to the feeling of relaxation that the weekend brings. Znate one dane kada se čini da su sve brige daleko i da se sreće odmara na vrhovima naših prstiju. Dok sjedim tamo, znam da je to jedan od onih dana. Rijeka Buna teče mirno pored nas, sunce sija, a ovaj ljetni dan je, imam osjećaj, sasvim savršen. Uhvaćena u čaroliji rijeke, gledam kako vrijeme stoji mirno na tren. Ima čarolije na ovom mjestu, u to sam sigurna.Ipak, ovdje se ne radi samo o tome. Uvijek volim biti ovdje, ali danas postoji dodatan razlog za radost. Danas je dan za slavlje. Koliko god vjerujem da ljubav treba slaviti svaki dan, još uvijek volim godišnjice. Osjećaj smirenosti na taj dan. Podsjeća me to na praznike i Božić. Ima nešto u tome da postoji određeni dan za sreću. Nešto smirujuće, a u isto vrijeme i veselo. Slično osjećaju opuštanja koje donosi vikend.  Kad smo već kod vikenda, ovo je poprilično dobro mjesto za provesti vikend. Tražite li gdje biste za vikend? These photographs were taken in Villa Ivankovich (their official site), where the two of us celebrated our wedding anniversary last week. The meal was nothing special, but that didn’t seem very important at the time. We often go there for drinks as the location is really dreamy. I don't remember eating here very often, just a few times, but I think the food used to be better. Besides the restaurant and the coffee bar, you can also rent rooms in this villa( if you're looking for a place to stay in this area you can keep it in mind).  As I said, we had a lovley time there last week. A bit later on that day, we moved to another restaurant, but about that I shall write tomorrow. Let's talk about what I wore. For some reason, when Autumn starts approaching, I feel like wearing long boho dresses all the time. On this particular day, I wanted to look dressed up, but at the same time I didn't want to go over the top, so I dressed down this maxi dress with a denim vest. I really liked this outfit, it was comfortable and I felt very glam wearing it.

Ove fotografije su uslikane u Villi Ivanković (njihova službena stranica), gdje smo nas dvoje slavili godišnjicu vjenčanja prošloga tjedna. Hrana nije bila ništa posebno, ali to mi se nije činilo posebno važnim. Često tamo odemo na piće jer je lokacija stvarno bajkovita. Ne sjećam se da sam ovdje često jela, možda samo par put, ali mislim da je hrana prije bila bolja. Osim restorana i kafića, tu se mogu i iznajmiti sobe ( ako tražite mjesto gdje biste odsjeli). Kao što sam rekla, lijepo nam je bilo tamo prošloga tjedna. Malo kasnije toga dana, preselili smo u drugi restoran, ali o tome ću pisati sutra. Sada nešto o tome što sam nosila. Iz nekoga razloga, kako se Jesen približava meni se sve više nose duge haljine u boemskom stilu. Ovaj dan, željela sam izgledati dotjerano ali opet nisam htjela pretjerati, pa sam dugu haljinu uskladila s prslukom od jeansa. Jako mi se svidjela ova kombinacija, bila je jako udobna i dobro sam se osjećala u njoj.
