Redhair (fashion illustration of the day)/ Crvenokosa (modna ilustracija dana)

watercolour/vodene boje

Today I'm sharing one of my fashion illustrations with you. This one was inspired by  recent trends that I happen to fancy, so this illustrated outfit includes  lace up heels, plaid skirt and off shoulder blouse. They said that one shouldn't wear more than one trend per outfit. Well, rules are meant to be broken, right? This is something I would like to wear. Well, at least I know I will get the chance to wear a statement necklace like the one I illustrated. You see for the last few days I've been sewing and working on new statement necklaces, so that is how I know.  Sometimes the easiest way to get something you want is to make it yourself.

Ponekad kada nešto želite, najjednostavnije je to napraviti sam.

  13. If only I could wave a wand and have all those trendy items in the illustration come to life. And magically appear in my closet. Gosh, if wishes were horses. I don't believe in abiding by rules especially when it comes to fashion. If it looks good I'm wearing it, lol. I love all the lace up shoes and off shoulder blouses. So cute. I'm very sure the necklace you made looks great. I can't wait to see it.

  16. Yes, dear Ivana, it is really one of the easiest way to make the things we want by ourselves :) I did this especially in the past very often - and feel always inspired when doing. And you are right: why should one wear not more than one trend at the same time? Not only due to this reason I really like your illustration of today and the power your illustration sends to me. Have a wonderful weekend!

  22. Love the look you've created here, Ivana. Rules? what rules? The only rule in fashion is, there ain't no rules in fashion. Period. Lovely illustration as well, Ivana. NIce approach at the wet-in-wet technique for the background.

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.
