My illustrations of the day / Moje ilustracije dana

Today I'm sharing four illustrations with you.  Two of them are fashion illustrations and the other two are portraits. The first 3 were illustrated with just an eyeliner, but the last one is illustrated with an eyeliner and eye shadow. Earlier this month, I posted a FAQ post about drawing/illustrating/painting with make up (read it here).  If you have any questions about using make up for painting, crafts or DIY feel free to ask. If you have any personal experience and advice about alternative uses for make up, please share them in the comments. I'm no expert myself, but I've been using make up to paint a lot lately so I wanted to share my experience with you. That is all for today. Thank you for reading.

  3. It's really cool how you created these artworks with eyeliner. I would imagine it has a different feel and texture from using traditional art media but it also share similar qualities as well. These are lovely!

    1. yes, the texture is very different and the end result kind of reminds me of charcoal.

  14. Those are beautiful, Ivana and now I feel foolish for throwing away my old gel liner. I could have used it to experiment with drawing, there's no wastage.

  19. Hello dearest Ivana, I like your drawings! I think I never tried to draw with eyliner (but I remember I painted a picture with eyeshaddow and lipstick when I was a young girl – to demonstrate the colors I’ve bought ;o)) My favourite picture is the last one because it seems to tell a story - you also wrote a text in italian language and drew a landscape with a church – I love such compositions! And I like the dress the girl's wearing!

Lots of hugs my dear and have a happy time,

  30. Dear Ivana, it is unbelievable how creative you are and that you use even makeup for fantastic illustrations! Love all of them! The eyeliner and the eyeshadow, too, are giving your illustrations a very special touch. Thanks for sharing - it is only a pity I'm not talented for such drawings so I can't use my eyeliners in this context :)

  33. Wow, dear Ivana, always so talented! I loved all the illustrations, but especially the last one! I like that you are using eyeliners or makeup in general for the illustrations, this is really very creative! And I know you are creative AND talented! A beautiful soul, in fact! I used to use eye shadows in paintings, long time ago, and then spray something to fix the color, but for manu years I haven't use makeup for painting, anymore. You brought that nice memory to me again, thank you so much for sharing these beautiful illustrations! Hope you have a very nice week!

  34. Thank you so much for sharing your drawings! I love the way that you are drawing with makeup. The colors are very lovely, and the eyeliner is dramatic. I have an art degree for quite some time now, but I'm very shy so it's hard for me to show my drawings!
