transitional outfit/ kombinacija za vrijeme između

Do know that weather when it is too cold to wear just a sweater but it is too warm to wear a jacket? What do you do when days are warm and sunny but windy? What is the solution to this wardrobe problem? Well, an oversize scarf is a lovely solution. Speaking of which, I have a secret to share with you. This oversize blue tartan scarf is actually a tablecloth. Its cost was equal to two cups of coffee  yet I've been wearing it non stop since I bought two years ago (if I remember correctly). It is soft and warm...and really isn't it all in our head? Sometimes we are prepared to spend a lot of money on something just because it is trendy or advertised frequently and we may very well have a very similar or exactly the same item in our closet. Sometimes there is no difference between a tablecloth, oversize scarf, pareo or whatever. Things are, more often than not, what they make them to be. For those interested, the locations for shooting were city park and Spanish square in Mostar. The close up were shot in front of my home. I'm wearing a necklace I made myself, a new Mana sweater and an old floral dress and Šimecki boots. You know I'm not particulary crazy about bags, but I really like this new dark caramel one. What do you think about this outfit?

  18. I wouldn't have guessed that it's a table cloth if you didn't mention it! And yes, sometime I do think certain stuff are just in our head, if the item looks good on us then why not, right?

  32. Omg that is a great idea darling. It's so beautiful and I would totally wear it like a scarf too. Pretty color. I know what you mean though, you add layers cos you think it's cold and then you take them off cos it's not quite cold enough. For this reason I don't like in between seasons but a scarf goes a long way at times like this. You look stunning!!

  36. Dear Ivana, you made me smile and I must tell you, this is definitely the most stylish tablecloth I saw ever :) But you are so right: everything is in my mind and why not to use the things in this way how we like it! The result you reached with your outfit is lovely for the eyes and you look again very beautiful. And although I know you are not that bag fan, the new one you show here is beautiful and perfect for fall. Also the location you have chosen in Mostar is impressing and I see that fall comes now also to your region. Hopefully you had a good weekend so far!

  48. gosh, these are so many pics, huuu...

colourwise i see a little bit of everything - and, in my opinion, this is a hard style on fashion, not easy to wear. can i name this style a little bit of "vintage"? what do YOU mean on that?

i love your first pic - this is so cute, with your hair in your face - blowing from the wind? and your smile is so sweeeeet...;-)

    Bye.

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.
