Say it with pink...... / Reci to rozom........

When a fellow blogger Denise (check her blog here ) wrote that she will be wearing pink this month as a part of annual pink October campaign meant to raise awareness about breast cancer, I've decided to do something similar. I'll try to wear pink more often this month.  Everyone should keep in mind that early prevention is very important when it comes to breast cancer. It takes only a few minutes to do a quick self examination and it can literally save your life. Read about the five steps of breast examination here.

    I do not know this language, pink, what part of the world speaks that :) If you speak pink can we shorten it to "spink." Let us try it! I would like to spink with you regarding your cool outfit.     It's great you're wearing pink and raising awareness! :) This month I'm doing Frocktober, I'm wearing dresses all month to fund-raise for Ovarian Cancer Research. We have a team in the office doing it, and we are almost half way to our fundraising goal!     Roze boja je sama po sebi divna i posebna, a kako je simbol nečega tako važnog, utoliko više. Drago mi je što živimo u vremenu kada tako ozbiljne stvari nisu neki bauk već problem koji ima sve veću stopu izlečivosti i što mi same možemo da reagujemo na vreme. Kombinacija je tako lepa, suptilna i začinjena pravim detaljima :)

      da, medicina je doista napredovala, a i zdravstveni problemi više nisu takva stigma, iako ima pomalo još tog mentaliteta.

    We can all do our part to bring awareness to BCA month and wearing pink is an easy way to do so. I don't recall you wearing pink much before but it's avery pretty color on you :)

    I'm with you on the positive message. It definitely lifts the mood and are much preferable to negativity or swearing. No worries on the mixup. A few people actually thought the same thing :)

    Hello Ivana,

    thanks for this link! Cool, i can see now your gorgoeus silver sandals on you and in combo with clothings - great stuff. I just have only one pair of sandal heels - and they have a plateau. But if i´m wearing these shoes, i´m thinking all the time that i´m "swimming" in there. These kind of shoes given me not much halt - so i slip erverytime forward and backwards - i hope you know what i´m talking about.

    I like this kind of shoes - specially on other women. I dont know, if you had the same problem like i do - i mean, with the "slipping". That´s the reason, why i´m wearing these shoes not very often.

    Anyway. I had not really pink clothings in my closet. But i like your grey/pink combo a lot - that looks really great. Specially this pink is not "too" pink.

    I dont wear hats or caps - but you can do this, this looks really, really great on you.

      sandals with high heels can be very comfy but this model is not good. There is not enough support for the foot. Actually, I don't have these shoes anymore, they got broken! Sandals with ankle straps are a lot more comfortable because straps prevent slipping of the feet. It is possible that sandals without straps can work too...but they must be made right.

FORGIVENESS DAY BY URSULA K. LE GUIN (BOOK REVIEW AND AN AUTUMN STYLING)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
