Places to go to, sights to see (Peć Mlini) / Mjesta za posjetiti, znamenitosti za vidjeti ( Peć Mlini)

Peć Mlini is a magical place, no doubt about that. Despite the fact that I've been living in Herzegovina for years I only recently discovered this lovely place. This post is an introductory post, there will more posts dedicated to this wonderful location that is situated on the source of Tihaljna river. Many visitors come to this place in search of refreshment. While we were there, I noticed that barbecues are allowed (just make sure you clean afterwards). The spring water is as clean as imaginable, so it i perfectly safe to drink it and swim in it. I definitely recommend visiting this place.

  24. I kept expecting to see Frodo and Aragorn in some of these shots. Which way is it to the Shire from there? What a great combination of natural and manufactured beauty and a totally awesome place to film a fantasy movie. Look like a great place to get lost in.

  32. This looks such a special place, with all the boxes for 'perfect location' well and truly ticked: the prospect of swimming being number one aspect! And ah, if only everyone would clear up after their barbecues. I'm saddened by how many people don't do so...
