Ilustrations of the day (hair) / Ilustracije dana (kosa)








There is a theme to my illustrations today: hair. One way or another, hair is important to all of us. Some women rock the pixie or shave their hair completely, becoming somehow even feminine. I strongly believe it can be a freeing experinece. However, I  just love to feel the heaviness of my hair hence I prefer to keep it long for now. Nevetheless, whatever our personal preference be, there is no denying how important hair is for all of us.

Današnje ilustracije imaju i temu: kosa. Na ovaj ili onaj način, kosa nam je svima bitna. Nekim ženama izvrsno pristaje skroz kratka kosa ili čak obrijana glava i uspijevaju postati čak i više ženstvene. Čvrsto vjerujem da to može biti oslobađajuće iskustvo. Ja osobno, volim osjetiti težinu svoje kose tako da je zasada držim dugom. Svejedno, koji god bio vaš osobni izbor, ne možemo zanijekati koliko nam je svima važna kosa.

    Slažem se da nekim žename neusporedivo bolje stoji kratka kosa koliko god ja na sebi više volim dužu ... mislim, bitan je oblik lica, a moj nikako ne dopušta kratku kosu tako da ...
    Prva mi je ilustracija najdraža... sviđa mi se koncept kose oko glave ... baš fora :)

    I am born with thin and very fine hair and have always been envious with people who has natural thick hair. You're right about hair being important, I think women especially get very sensitive about their hairs, I know I do. LOL!

    What intriguing and inspiring art pieces. It is true that some people rock the pixie do and I myself love it on many women but I just don't look good in them.     I love your illustrations, expecially the first and the last one! And I agree with you about hair. It's so important! No matter, long or short, it's really a great way to show our personality. For me, I've been having long hair for years and years, and now I'm thinking of cutting it very short. Not now, but maybe in few months. We will see. I feel that I need a change :-) Big hugs!

In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. Well, a post about art. Fashion art to be more precise.  I've been on a roll lately with my art posts. After a period of not posting my art at all, due to a variety of reasons, I started posting my art in every post. I got back to my destination art series, and now it's time for another post in my fashion art series. Friday Fashion Illustration  is somewhat of a regular feature on my blog.
