Split city (outfit post) / grad Split (odjevna kombinacija)













 






On this particular day I was feeling rather melancholic and sad. A feeling that hasn't lasted very long, though when we feel that way it seems like it will last forever. Beautiful things often have the power to improve my mood and indeed my mood was greatly improved not long after these photographs were taken.  This time the beauty that made me feel better was the pearl of the sea i.e. Split city. I shall never grow tired of it.

Toga dana osjećala sam se poprilično melankonično i tužno. Osjećaj koji nije potrajao dugo, iako nam se uvijek čini da će trajati zauvijek kada se tako osjećamo. Lijepe stvari često imaju tu moć da poprave moje raspoloženje i doista moje raspoloženje se znatno popravilo nedugo nakon što su ove fotografije uslikane. Ovoga puta ljepota koja me oraspoložila je bio biser mora to jest Split. Nikad mi neće dosaditi.

    How good, dear Ivana, that your melancholic mood finally disappeared and that you were again able to see the beauty of Split. Nevertheless you look really beautiful on the pictures and I love all the pictures you show here so much.     Drago mi je da se melankolija brzo raspršila, uvijek mrzim kad me ulove takva raspoloženja pa se onda osjećam kao da sve što radim nema nikakvog smisla i slično. Srećom je potrebno malo za veselje pa se lako izvući :)

    Ali odlično izgledaš, super ti je haljina, a moram primjetiti da ti je ova žuta torba postala najdraža od svih :) odlično je što se super uklopi u svaku kombinaciju!

    Zuta torbica, vesela haljinica... ne moze biti mjesta za tugu :) Kad sam ja sugavo raspolozena, uvijek izabirem i takve tmurne tonove sto je bas lose ali trudim se to promijeniti. ..
    Drago mi je da si tugu brzo ostavila po strani iako svi znamo da to nekada bas zna biti tesko ...

The natural grandeur and beauty gives us power to move on, to feel better even when we are drained mentally and physically.     Stvarno dugo nisam bila u Splitu, mislim da je vrijeme da se javim splitskoj rodbini, pa da se ponovno malo prošetam po tom divnom gradu! Inače, izgledaš odlično. Torba uistinu podiže kombinaciju. Nosi je što češće protiv lošeg raspoloženja! ;)

    Jako slatka i unikatna haljinica! Izgledas mi bas djevojacki i opusteno u ovom outfitu a melankolija se tek nazire u ocima :)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
