Split city (outfit post)/ Split (odjevna kombinacija)



















Again I'm posting old photos, in this case beach photos from the last summer (this year my health was so-so which resulted in almost no beach days). Nevertheless, I do really like these photographs so I've decided this is as good time as any to share them. Obviously this is a beach outfit (as you can guess from neon orange bikini straps) but this vintage LBD has served me well many times. In fact it has been washed so many times it is kind of changing its colour from black to dark grey.


Great thing about Split is that you don't have to leave the city in order to find a nice beach. All the ones in the city are really lovely and the sea is always so clean.  Still, if you want absolute piece and quiet, choosing one of Croatian islands would be the right thing to do.However, if you like cities (and some people cannot do without them), remember that there are cities that have managed to find the balance between the natural and modern....and can provide you both with the advantages of urban and natural life. Vacationing in the city is actually not a bad idea. I wouldn't complain at all if I had spend my summer in Split. This summer it was impossible because I had too many things to do, but maybe next one?

 Ponovno objavljujem stare fotografije, ovoga puta prošlogodišnje fotografije sa plaže  (ove godine mi zdravlje nije bilo baš najbolje pa i nisam provela puno dana na plaži). Ipak, ove fotografije mi se sviđaju pa zašto ih ne bih podijelila? Očito je ovo kombinacija sa plažu (naračaste trake bikinija vire), ali ova nasljeđena crna haljinica često mi je dobro poslužila. U stvari oprana je toliko puta da je sada više tamno siva nego crna.

 Odlična stvar kod Splita je da ne morate otići iz grada da biste našli dobru plažu. Sve plaže u gradu su stvarno pristojne i more je uvijek čisto. No, ako želite apsolutni mir najbolje otići do nekog otoka. Međutim ako želite biti u gradu (a neki ljudi ne mogu bez gradova) zapamtite da ima gradova koji su uspjeli zadržati ravnotežu između prirodnog i modernog...i mogu vam pružiti i prednosti urbanog i prirodnog života. Mislim da ljetovanje u gradu nije uopće tako loše stvar, ne bih se nimalo bunila da sam ovo ljeto mogla ljetovati u Splitu, ali imam svakakvih nekakvih obaveza pa ništa od toga za sada. Možda iduće ljeto?

    Mnogo mi se ide na hrvatsko primorje ali nekako nikako da stigne na red. Sigurna sam da je Split prelep i još sa takvom plažom gde ćeš bolje ;)
    Mnogo si slatka, kao i ta haljinica i morska frizura ;)

      hvala...ove godine i ja sam ostala malo željna primorja... nekad mi se čini da bi išla na sto mjesta odjednom, a ništa da dođe na red. Zašto još nisu izmislili transportaciju pa da se možemo svi naći na kavi u par sekunda?:)

    Draga moja Ivana. Divne su ti slike! Ti si meni preslatka! Haljina je divna, ja obozavam haljine sa otvorenim ledjima i valjda mi je zato i extra ta slika gde se to i vidi. Sve je super! Nekada davno bila sam u Splitu...lep grad. I hvala ti sto uvek detaljno i lepo prokomentarises na mom blogu, a Barbikinu haljinicu ipak nisam ja sila ali bi je rado nosila!

      i meni su drage haljine za otvorenim leđima...možda bi se trebala ohrabriti i sašiti jednu. U zadnje vrijeme samo šijem ogrlice od eko kože, nešto sam se sad toga uhvatila.

    Super kombinacija- uvek je bolje baciti na sebe neku haljinu (preko kupaći kostim), a ne hlače i majica kao kod mene :P Plaža izgleda odlićno, a uopšte nema puno ljudi (bar kad ste to slikali). Da ne govorim o moru, kao da me zove- tako prazno izgleda ;) xx Maja

In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own.
