You can keep your hat on (fashion illustration/ modna ilustracija)

Another fashion illustration inspired by summer that is almost here (and not by the song title I've adopted for the post title but I've loved that song ever since the dance scene in 9 1/2 weeks). The outfit I have proposed is a typical summer one...lovely top with stripes and a yellow skirt (a colour that screams summer for me)....an oversize bag for the beach is a must item for summer...and so is the hat. In fact, I think a good summer hat is really an essential summer piece. I didn't use to be so sensitive to the sun, but now that unfortunately I am, I've found that a summer hat really helps me to feel cool and avoid dizziness. I've put a little collage together, just to show you what I mean when I say that I prefer not to leave the house without a straw hat on those extra sunny days....and speaking of summer...what kind of hats do you like? I don't think I've ever spend more than a few euros on a summer hat and they have all served me just fine. It is wonderful how nowadays we have so many options, literally anywhere one can find great selection of hats...So girls, keep your hat on!

Još jedna modna ilustracija nadahnuta ljetom koje je skoro pa stiglo ( i ne naslovom pjesme koji sam navela u naslovu posta, ali doista volim tu pjesmu još otkako sam vidjela plesnu scenu u devet i pol tjedana.) Odjevna kombinaciju koju predlažem je tipična ljetna...divan top na prugice i žuta suknja (prava ljetna boja, zar ne?)...velika torba za plažu je nužna ljeti...a također i šešir. U stvari, mislim da je dobar šešir posve nužan ljeti. Prije nisam bila tako osjetljiva na sunce, ali otkako nažalost jesam, otkrila sam da mi nošenje šešira pomaže da izbjegnem pregrijavanje i ošamućenost. Sastavila sam i jedan mali kolaž, tek toliko da pokažem svoju ljubav prema šeširima ljeti...a govoreći o njima...kakve vi volite? Mislim da nisam nikad potrošila više od dvadesetak kuna na ljetni šešir i dosada su me svi dobro služili. Divno je što imamo toliko izbora, na svakom kutku može se pronaći toliko lijepih modela, tako da stvarno nije teško pronaći prikladan...djevojke, pronađite pravi za sebe i nosite ga.

    Ta pesma je stvarno nešto posebno i sad mi se već uvrtela u glavu :)
    Ne znam šta mi je lepše, da li crtež ili kolaž koji si napravila! Mnogo mnogo mi se sviđaju! :) I naravno šeširi, ranije ih nisam nikako volela, a od prošlog leta ih rado nosim. Tragam za nekim većim koji mi pritom neće padati na lice. Jeste da deluje glamurozno ali se baš i ne osećam tako kad ne vidim skoro ništa :D

      nađi onda neki s čvrstim tj. krutim obodom, taj sigurno neće padati na lice:) Meni se sviđaju i jedni i drugi, ali da malo je nezgodno kad ne vidiš gdje ideš:)

    I love that song too. I also love hats, but I don't feel too comfortable wearing wide brimmed hats. They really draw attention! But I understand how much protection hats offer from the sun!

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
