pastels colours / pastelne boje

Pastel hair, pastel make up, pastel clothes, pastel everything...the pastels colours are in again. What do you think about them? What is your pastel colour of choice? Which one was your favourite when you were a child? I think mine was pink, a predictable choice ...that is after all what most girls say when you asked them about their favourite colours. I find that there is something relaxing in the pastel colours. In addition, there is a lot of potential for subtle and elegant looks to be found in pastel colours. Spring is making me feel both quite hyperactive and really tired this year, so the relaxation offered by the gentle shades is more than welcome.  

Pastelna kosa, pastelna šminka, pastelna odjeća...ponovo su popularne pastelne boje. Što mislite o njima? Koja je vaša najdraža pastelna boja? Koja vam je bila najdraža kad ste bili dijete? Mislim da je moja bila roza, predvidljiv izbor jer to je ipak što većina djevojčica kaže kad ih se pita za omiljenu boju. Mislim da ima nešto relaksirajuće u pastelnim nijansama, a imaju i puno potencijala kod postizanja suptilnog i elegantnog izgleda. Proljeće me ove godine čini i prilično hiperaktivnom i jako umornom u isto vrijeme, tako da je dobrodošla relaksacija koju nude nježnije boje.

    I mene ovo proljeće nekako umara, joj joj :) Meni lijepo izgledaju sve pastelne nijanse iako ih baš nećeš vidjeti na meni jer sam više pobornik žarkih boja, ali ih jako volim vidjeti na drugima.

    When I was a teenager I was really mad about pink, I wanted everything what I have to be pink. It was real madness and I was looking like a pink lollipop. Those times are so far away now, and I would prefer black and white to pink without a shadow of doubt. At the same time, I love your painting, it looks so original, I also agree that elegance and royal chic can be definitely found in pastel colours and soft shades too!

    I think you know that I'm in general a huge lover of colours. And althoug I think I prefer bright colours a bit more than pastel colours I love this colour palette also. My favourite colours from the pastels are for sure pink and pale blue, and I think I love pink also when I was a child. And a beautiful drawing again, I like it really much!

FORGIVENESS DAY BY URSULA K. LE GUIN (BOOK REVIEW AND AN AUTUMN STYLING)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.  Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! It's almost ten. I've had a long week and I'm quite tired and sleepy. However, I'll try to wrap this post up for you tonight. What kind of post? Well, a post about art. Fashion art to be more precise.  I've been on a roll lately with my art posts. After a period of not posting my art at all, due to a variety of reasons, I started posting my art in every post. I got back to my destination art series, and now it's time for another post in my fashion art series. Friday Fashion Illustration  is somewhat of a regular feature on my blog.
