Korizmeni koncert u Mostaru: Stabat Mater (fotografija) / Lent concert : Stabat Mater (photography/Mostar)

Stabat Mater is a 13th century hymn to Mary. It was set to music by many composers, this performance was a version  by Pergolesi, an Italian composer.

Stabat Mater je himna Mariji iz 13 stoljeća. Uglazbili su je brojni skladatelji, a ova izvedba bila je prema talijanskom skladatelju Pergolesiju.

I'm a bit late with posting these photographs being that I took them at the end of the last month. The lent concert was held on the 30th of March. Well, better late then never, right?

Malo kasnim s objavljivanjem ovih fotografija. Korizmeni koncert bio je krajem ožujka.  Bolje kasnije nego nikad, zar ne?

    1. I wish I could go to the theater every evening:) I enjoy it for the same reasons as you do.

Speaking of that, I don't have anything against the movies, but the two really cannot be compared. Sometimes it confuses me that people prefer the movies to such events. Life performance be it a concert or a play is a distinct art phenomenon. There is always that risk that something will go wrong and there is always something new in the every performance, it is never a reproduction. That makes it more like life itself. It also makes us (the audience) somehow a part of it all.

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
