Bellissima new collection for autumn-winter / Bellissima nova kolekcija za jesen i zimu

Today I'm going to talk about one brand again. Bellissima is a brand from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I would describe their clothes as being very feminine, elegant and sophisticated.

 Being already available in stores, today I had the chance to check out the new Bellissima collection for autumn/ winter 2013/2014. As far as I noticed, this brand always had really good quality clothes, and this collection is no different. I still haven't bought anything, I really am not  impulsive when it comes to shopping, I always prefer to think first and shop later so I can be sure that what I have bought with work well with other stuff I have.

What I really like about their clothes are the materials and the sewing...I like when the sewing is precise, (I've noticed that in many high street brands it tends to be a bit messy.) I know you cannot have something for nothing, but I'm really annoyed when I see bad stitching. Bellissima, on the other hand, is not that expensive (prices similar to  Zara), but everything about the clothes (materials, cuts) seems so flawless.

I wondered into generalities, but I'm just writing down my impressions. The downside to this brand (if that can be called a downside) is that I can hardly imagine a teenager wearing most of their clothes, so it is not really a brand that is suitable for everyone.  It is probably best option for a professional but stylish look or a formal look with a fun twist, because they do have something modern about their clothes even if it seems to be  based on the classical. In addition, this is a regional brand so you cannot expect to find their clothes in just any town. However, if you happen to travel into this region why not buy a local product? If I understood their site correctly you can find their stores in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo.

I'm sharing with you photos from the new collection that are available on facebook and their site. The entire campaign for autumn/winter 2013/2014 is still not available on their website, http://www.bellissima.ba/  I'm not sure why, perhaps it is not completed yet.


Danas predstavljanje Sarajevskog brenda...Bellissima je modna kuća iz Bosne i Herzegovine sa sjedištem u Sarajevu. Njihovu odjeću bi opisala kao izrazito ženstvenu, elegantnu i sofisticiranu. Sviđa mi se što uspjevaju biti moderni iako se drže klasike. Pošto je već dostupna u trgovinama, danas sam pogledala novu kolekciju za jesen i zimu. Odjeća im kao i obično, izgleda jako kvalitetno. Nisam još ništa kupila, ja sam više osoba koja voli dvaput razmisliti, ali mogu reći da mi se svidjela.

 Kod njihove odjeće mi se jako sviđa što koriste kvalitene materijale i što je šivanje besprijekorno. Šivanje se možda ne čini toliko bitno, ali je, jer ako je šav nekvalitetan, brzo će se raspasti što god kupite. Primjer za to je hrvatski Galeb (većinom prodaju donje rublje, sigurno znate ovaj brend), ja ću uvijek kupiti kod njih jer znam kako šivaju, znam krojačice koje tamo rade i znam da će mi to trajati, iako možda više i ne koriste najkvalitetniji pamuk, ali ionako nitko zaista ne koristi više tako kvalitetne materijale kao nekad, to je jednostavno posljedica masovne proizvodnje odjeće, ali zato ljudi ne moraju više prodati konja da bi kupili par traperica i majicu (istinita priča usput, tako je to nekad bilo)...Malo sam skrenula sa teme, ali pošto moja digresija ima veze sa odjećom i kupnjom odjeće, valjda neće smetati. Uglavnom, mrzim vidjeti loše ušivene stvari i ne može dizajn odjeće biti tako dobar i cijena tako povoljna da ja to kupim.

  Po vlastitom iskustvu (nije neznam kako veliko ali...) odjeća šivana u Hrvatskoj, Sloveniji, Bosni i Herzegovini, Makedoniji, Srbiji itd pokazala mi se puno kvalitetnijom od tih poznatih svjetskih marki koje se sve šivaju u Kini, pa ću onda radije naručiti izravno iz Kine i povoljnije, nego da mi naplate nekakvo europsko ime. Toliko o tome.

      meni vuku na splistki Uzor koji je propao zbog nečije pohlepe ili bolje rečeno nekretnina koje imaju, a koje su na cijeni (od kojih je jedna u mom kvartu) Mislim kako uopće može firma koja šiva za vojsku, policiju i aerodrom itd propasti...pa samo od toga su mogli imati dobar profit...ali eto svašta je moguće kad je pranje novca u pitanju.

In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own.
