Makarska at night / Makarska noću











I can't believe it has been four years or even more (I'm not entirely sure when these photos were taken). Time really does fly, doesn't it? I did really enjoy that evening that I had spend there despite the fact that the heel of my shoe fall off (luckily I managed to buy other shoes in the bazaar ). The reason why I'm posting these photographs is because I want to present Makarska to you.

It is a beautiful (relatively little) city on Adriatic coast (Croatia), extremely popular with the tourists. Having a lot to offer to any visitor, that never came as a surprise to me.  The city itself has stunning beaches and in vicinity you can find some really amazing ones...Makarska riviera is basically a synonym for beautiful beaches. So if you looking for some quality beach time, this is the place to go. If you're the type that likes peace and quiet you can find that too, just pick some nice little place somewhere on Makarska riviera, because the city itself (as I have mentioned) is quite crowded in the summertime.

It might be good to mention that the city itself has a fascinating history but I won't talk about that just yet...I'll just leave you with these night photos of the city and if you're interested I can do an entire post just about Makarska...and speaking about that I also plan a post about places to see in Croatia that might come in handy to you guys that plan to vacation here. xoxo



Ne mogu vjerovati da su prošle četiri godine, a možda čak i više, otkada su ove fotografije uslikane. Makarska je stvarno divna, kao i cijela Makarska riviera, koja je postala sinonim za lijepe plaže i ne bez razloga. Grad ima puno za ponuditi svakom posjetitelju, a ima i zanimljivu povijest. U povijest neću ulaziti zasada, možda  napravim prilog o tome, pa javite ako biste to željeli... a planiram i pisati posebno o mjestima koje morate vidjeti u Hrvatskoj. Pozdrav

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
