Some people are against the zoo. I'm not really sure where I stand. I agree that it is unnatural for most animals to be kept in the captivity. However, zoos are important for preserving endangered species. Breeding in captivity and releasing the animals is one of the way to preserve an endangered animal. Besides, in the zoos people often get educated about animals, so there is that side as well. There isn't much to be said about the outfit, it's very much casual and nothing you haven't seen before. I was actually a bit cold as these photos were taken this weekend when it wasn't as warm as it is today.

Neki ljudi su protiv zooloških vrtova i ja to razumijem. Donekle se slažem jer je većini životinji neprirodno biti u zarobljeništvu, ali opet zoološki vrtovi su često važni za očuvanje ugroženih vrsta. Razmnožavanje u zatočeništvu, nakon čega se određeni broj životinja pušta u prirodu...to je jedan od načina očuvanja ugrožene vrste...Osim toga u zoološkim vrtovima ljudi uče u o životinjama. Nemam nešto posebno za reći o odjevnoj kombinaciji, skroz je ležerna, zapravo mi je bilo čak i hladno i požalila sam što nisam ponijela đžemper ili nešto jer prošlog vikenda baš i nije bilo toplo kao danas.

    You're so right that many people have problems with Zoo's and I'm not sure where I stand on that either but I really like your photos and the beautiful shots of the animals too. Your casual look is perfect for a day out and I love the striped top. I wish I had one like that for the 4th of July tomorrow. :)

    Gorgeous. I am inbetween with zoos. I think they do amazing work to preserve animals whose habitats are being destroyed to raise awareness and funds for them. But, I know some zoos do not respect the animals or provide proper areas for them. So, those ones need fixed. Many animals would be no more if there weren't any zoos, so they are important. xx

    For me it´s the same, dear Ivana, I´m not sure if I should against or pro a zoo. I think for some animal species it helps again their extinction ... But I have always so much charity with the caged animals!

    I love going to the zoo and learning about all the different animals! But I do have to say its unfortunate that some of the animals are being kept in captivity in environments way different than their natural ones :(

    I love well-kept zoos that take care of animals who were once injured or who were born in captivity and unable to take care of themselves in the wild. :) Animals are just fascinating.

    Yep, I'm such a person, I'm against zoos, circuses and any other ways to use animals for our amusement. I'm deeply sorry about nowadays situation in society, in essence people are using animals as toys or something like that. Human population is increasing, but number of wild animals are decreasing day by day.
    Anyhow, pictures are beautiful , that bird at the first shot is really gorgeous! Hopefully, they are really full-fed in a proper way!

In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
