DIY+ sunday outfit post: find out how to refresh your old jeans !
How's the New Year been treating you? As the title suggests, today I'll be showing you two things.
No.1 DIY
I don't remember when I started working with textil colours, a few years ago I guess. I've always been big on DIY but long story short, this is something pretty easy. All you need is a bit of colour and a brush. If you can't paint to save your life you can always cut the shapes you want or just copy some image on your clothes. I love to paint so this is something like a dream come true for me. Combining painting and fashion, I mean what could be better? I made sure I took a lot of photos so you can see all the stages.
No. 2 The outfit
As you can see, I'm really keen on this two sized too big jeans trend. Some call it boyfriend jeans, but since my significant other is really skinny, I'm not sure that his jeans would fit me. I really like this jeans, that is why I decided to refresh them a bit with the spots. Actually, these jeans used to be black ( I mean literally like 10 years ago) and I have to say - that is some good quality jeans. The brand is Amadeus jeans (Croatian). I'm not big on jeans to be frank, there is no way I could wear them two days in a row without feeling boring but how would our world look without denim? Hard to imagine it, right? So, my suggestion is: make sure the jeans you have are worth the money you spend on them. If anything should last it is the denim. Moving on...about the outfit...I like layering so this was how I've did it. The jacket is second hand and I love it. ( If you shop at second hand, try classical pieces like this one, because clothes used to be more expensive back in the day but also in the most cases the quality was much better than today) If anyone is wondering, the location is Međugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina...as you can see the past Sunday was uncanny warm for this time of year and what a beautiful day it had been!
Irish pub Međugorje--- Notice the painting behind me, it's a bit rustic ...very well done.
Thank you for taking the time to read this:) xoxo
