What To Wear For Halloween? My Rosegal selection


Summer is behind us, and it's time to make the most out of the new season. Now is the time of the year when everyone is falling for Fall (Autumn). Getting into the seasonal mood isn't hard when there are so many things to look forward to. The Autumn is upon on, and soon it will be time for a special holiday: Halloween. Time really flies, doesn't it? 

Halloween,  a celebration that takes place on the 31th of October, is usually celebrated with a number of fun and yummy traditions, such as trick-or-treating, carving pumpkins, getting dressed up, wearing costumes and attending Halloween parties. Some people spend the whole month getting ready for this celebration, setting (and sometimes making their own) Halloween decorations. For many people, Halloween is an important holiday. While this celebration is not celebrated  on the large scale everywhere, it's growing in popularity and spreading world wide.

I love prints and vintage fashion, so it's fun to see the two joined together. 




WHAT TO WEAR FOR HALLOWEEN IF YOU ARE A GIRLY GIRL?


When it comes to Halloween, costumes are always a popular choice. If you're not into wearing masks, you can always choose cute outfits with Halloween motives such as spiders, bats, cats and so on. After all, celebrations should be fun. You should wear something that you'll love.

 Fortunately, today there are many options available. If you a girl that likes feminine things, there is no need to go all goth or wear something that is just not your style. You can still pick out a beautiful dress  you will feel like a million dollars in. Just opt for a dress with Halloween motives. If you feel like dressing up, why not do just that?

Celebrations are often social in nature, so looking nice is often high on our priorities.  So, you should choose something you will feel both beautiful and comfortable in. For me personality, nothing beats a nice dress, especially when it comes any kind of special occasion or celebration.

    Hi Ivana! What a nice selection of spooky outfits to celebrate Halloween, actually they don't celebrate it a lot in Spain but back in Mexico and in the US I remind that this is such a big celebration, I'm a big fan of the event since you can't eat a lot of candies and watch some scary movies ;)

    The illustration with the Halloween colors is so magical!

    This is so cool Ivana dear! Halloween is a big thing in our country, but more than parties, it's more of a spiritual tradition that involves so many rituals that vary from one family to another. It's kind of scary to think about for others but Halloween is such an exciting event for me! Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! 10 STYLE LESSONS LEARNED FROM MALENA/ MONICA BELLUCCI

With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Bellucci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.   The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Bellucci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing).  There is definitely a Mediterranean lady feel about Malena/Monica Bellucci. THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO 2024 MOVIE REVIEW

In this post, I'll share with you a review of  The Count of Monte Cristo.  I don't go to theatre/movies often. In fact, years have been known to pass without me seeing a film on the big screen. However, when I saw the poster for the new 2024  The Count of Monte Cristo movie, I knew I simply had to go.  I really wanted to see this film, and I didn't even read the reviews or watch the trailer for it. I wasn't even intimidated by the fact it is a three hours long. Afterall, it's based on a rather long novel (that I happen to adore), so I didn't expect it to be short.  Now, I usually review books on my blog, not movies. However, perhaps this film review won't come as a surprise to you.
