Why You Should Consider Wearing Dresses in Summertime? (Fashion Mia selection)

Yesterday we have talked about dresses, and today we're going to talk about dresses again. Why not? As you know, I'm a big fan of dresses. I think they're one of the most versatile clothing items out there. After all, there are so many ways one can wear dresses, aren't they? You can wear them over jeans or leggings. You can layer dresses one over another or tuck them in your skirts. I, for one, often wear dresses like that, by wearing a skirt over them. I just tucked a dress in my skirt, that way I'm can often be sure there are no 'lines' showing. Another plus of doing that is that you don't have to worry about wearing an under-dress. Now, thank I think of it, my habit of wearing skirts over dresses is probably why I don't own that many tops and blouses. 

Another benefit of wearing dressing is that they make packing more easy. They are typically light, especially summer dresses. A great way to save up on packing space. By packing for example, a few dress and skirts, you can save up on your luggage space. Dresses come in a great variety of style, so whatever your personal style might be, be it rocker chic, business elegance, vintage beauty or eclectic, there is probably a dress for you out there. I do think everyone should give dresses a try. They can be worn in every style possible, even tomboys can pull them of. 



 Fashion dresses

When I think of summer clothing and women's fashion, my mind immediately thinks of dresses. Gowns and dresses are simply ideal for social occasions (birthdays, weddings, graduation celebrations), formal events (business meetings) and parties of any kind. Even if you don't typically wear dresses, you should consider giving them a try. In summer, we are all looking for clothing that will make us feel fresh and remain comfortable on the hottest of day. I do think that every woman should have at least one dress in her closet.  At FashionMia you can find some lovely bodycon dresses online.     You are right with each single point about dresses, dear Ivan! As you I like it to wear dresses although I have to admit I very seldom use dresses as tops :) But it is great and makes each dress even more versatile and it shows again your cleverness that you are doing this! Personally, I'm often surprised when I recognise that less women are wearing in summer dresses ... for me a summer without dress wouldn't be a summer :)

    You did a wonderful job of illustrating these outfits Ivana. I love dresses and agree that women should have at least one dress in their closet, unless they feel completely uncomfortable in a dress. Have you ever thought about sketching an entire collection to design?

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
