    Another one of your beautiful illustration, Ivana. Thx for sharing with us. Thx for your sweet comment, girl, that sounds so exciting about your moving houses next year. I feel you there, Ivana, it's so much fun but gosh it is exhausting all these furniture and wallpapers and rugs and carpets and tiles and what not, lol. It's so hard to make up your mind, isn't it? And it's damn hard to tie it all together, that's why I am now studying interior design, I don't want it get out of hand (again) you know buying everything I like and not knowing how to tie it all together so that it might work in the end. Gosh, sorry Ivana I got carried away, lol. Hope you don't mind, what I really want to say was, it might help if you make a mood-board, that's what I do now and it already helps a lot. Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Published in 2021, this postmodern  novel  follows two  story lines and uses framed narration.  The Island of Missing Trees  tells the life story of a Greek Turkish couple and their adolescent daughter.  This novel examines and explores a number of topics such as identity, migration, immigrant life, war trauma, memory, love and family. It's an ambitious novel that examines serious topics with due respect and sensitivity . I read it months ago, but I remember it vividly. Honestly, I cried a lot while reading this novel. It really moved me greatly. In fact, that is probably why it took me this long to finish this book review. With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? TRAVEL WITH MY ART #39- STJEPAN FORTRESS BLAGAJ (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I'll share another destination painting of mine. You know what that means- it's time for another TRAVEL WITH MY ART post! Today I'm taking you to Herzeg Stjepan Kosaca fortress. This stunning historical fortress overlooking Blagaj in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a sight to behold. Trying to capture its magical beauty in a painting was a challenge!  The medium for this painting is acrylic paints on cotton canvas. The painting process was actually quite long and tedious. I've worked on this painting since Autumn and I only finished it towards the end of Summer. I rushed the painting towards the end, because I wanted to participate in the joint artist exhibition. There was a submission deadline to meet, so I submitted this canvas not feeling confident it's actually finished.
