DIY necklace/ ogrlica koju sam izradila
There is a whole story behind this DIY. I've originally bought this anklet (they are also called ankle bracelets or ankle chains) when my nephew was about one year old for the purpose of being able to cook and watch over him at the same time (You know how little kids are). The anklet served its purpose and by the sound little bells made I knew where he was at any moment. Perhaps I should have been born in India because I've always loved jewelry with bells or really any jewelry that has a sound to it as well, for example that sound that bracelets sometimes make (if you wear enough of them that is). Anklets in general always remind me on that episode with baby Krishna where is probably where I got the idea in the first place. ( Naturally I'm a complete geek and I have probably read most of the religious texts there are. ) Anyhow, anklet having fulfilled his purpose I've decided to turn it into a necklace with a bit of beads and wire. Pretty simple process, took me very little time to complete it. I like how it turned out. The intention wasn't to use the Christmas colours (red and green) or symbols (bells), but I guess that reference can also be made. Actually, I made it some time ago but I couldn't find it.
Very pretty, a nice DIY, you did great!

What a lovely necklace with a nice story, on that snapshot you looks like a real Indian girl:) Probably, because of make up, I don't know:) By the way, when do you celebrate Christmas in Croatia?
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous time!
sure, we celebrate it:) why not?
DeleteCiao

I know how you feel because I have the same problem with Italian. I can understand it but when I use it...it's not so good. Anyway, thank you for your comment. Today I've used an old cam, so I'm not sure what I have pressed and where should I find white balance on this cam, but thank you for explaining that. One day I really have to learn more about the technical aspect of photography.
DeleteOk, I read in an earlier post, you use a Nikon coolpix P80.
DeleteHere the instructions to set the White Balance:

If you're not satisfied, to return to the Automatic White Balance, at the point 2 of the explanation, you selec "Auto", and then press OK
Ciao :)

ReplyDeleteDear Ivana, this was a great idea to use this ankle to hear where your nephew was, when he was little :) And as usual im impressed that your creativity develops a new idea after you don´t need furthermore this ankle for your nephew, because this necklace looks great and really good on you.
