    Hello Ivana,

    unfortunately you didnt write about your pics - i would love to know more about it.

    Please tell me: who is this on your first pic? I love this shot - gosh, this is wonderful!!!

    I love the combo on the left: leggings, tights and heeled sandals. I hear the "fashion-police" screaming in the background: "wearing tights in open shoes/sandals - this is a absolutely NO-GO!!!" Do you know this phrase as well? But i say: this is a absolutely "YES-GO". Is it in your country the same, that women dont wearing tights to open shoes?

    If i´m looking on the blogs of some of my followers, i see women they dont wearing tights - even in this autumn-season. I cant understand it.

    What your thoughts about this?

      Hi dear...I took these photos at that fashion show, so in the first photo you can see the heels of the make up artist and the model. They were standing facing one another while the make up was applied. It seems like a good detail to me, so I took a photo of it.

      yesterday, I went to a wedding and almost all women wore tights. The only ones who didn't were the ones who had long dresses. We always wear high heels to weddings here, it is part of the dress code and it is much easier to walk and dance in them in tights.....I think women here wear tights more often than in some other countries.

      Like yourself, I think there is nothing wrong with wearing tights to open toe shoes.

      thanks for your description - i appreciate.

      So far i was´nt on a wedding, but i can say, that not very much women wearing tights in my region. The most i see are mostly (black) opaque tights - proper to the autumn season right now. And Teens wearing (knee)socks. I think they dont even know pantyhoses...;-) And "heeled" women??? Not really. On the streets i see very much Ballerinas and Boots - this is ok - i like this shoes! But in the city (on a shopping day) there are no Heels on women feets.

 Time for another feature of Sights to see, places to visit . I've started this series because I wanted to share places that are dear to me with my readers. I wasn't sure should I include this post in the series, because I often took you to Buna river with me. However, some of you might be new visitors/readers on my blog. In addition, some of you might need a reminder why you shouldn't miss visiting this place. Well, take for the example photograph two and three, that is a river bird and a river snake. Let there be colour! (outfit post) / Neka bude boja (odjevna kombinacija)

It was over 40 degrees Celsius (that's over 100 Fahrenheit) when these photographs were taken. Seriously! I'm obviously a desert type when I'm able to enjoy being out at midday in a city that is practically an oven. If you did not know Mostar city is surrounded by mountains and hills which pretty much turns it into an urban oven. Yes, this city is a champion of unbelievably high temperatures during the Summer. So, this hat was as much a necessity as a fashion statement. Wearing a hat when temperature is over 100 Fahrenheit is a sound idea, believe me. Speaking of Fahrenheits,  have you read  Fahrenheit 451  by Ray Bradbury? You should, you know, it really is a brilliant dystopian novel. I find it uncanny how much some writers were able to guess the future, down to minute details. Something old, something new....Nešto staro, nešto novo.......

I wore a new black blazer in my last outfit ( click  here ) and I'm wearing an old one in this outfit. The brooch I'm wearing is my own creation, made from faux leather and coffee. Yes, you read that right. Coffee!!! I glued coffee beans onto the faux leather base (cut out from a second hand faux leather coat so that's basically triple recycling) and then I decorated the brooch with nail-polish. Usually I don't use glue for DIY projects, but that time I decided to make an exception. How do you like my creation? Now, I will say a few words about the location because to me they are as important as outfits. You know that I love sharing beautiful places with you. Do you like bridges? If you do, you will most likely enjoy visiting Mostar city. Do know how Mostar city got its name? The noun 'most' means bridge and -ar is a suffix used to create an occupation. Hello dear readers! I'm back with another book review. The Dinner, a novel by Dutch author Herman Koch was first published in 2009. This novel has been described as a bestselling phenomenon. Certainly, this novel has achieved international success.   The Dinner was not only successfully translated into many languages, it was also adapted to film. There are four notable film adaptations of this novel. Out of these film adaptations, the Dutch one was made first, followed by Italian, American (USA) and South Korean films. So, what kind of novel is it? What is the secret of its success? First of all, it's a dark novel. Reading the blurb, I gathered as much. However, I wasn't prepared for how dark it truly was. Is Marjan hill worth the hike? Je li Marjan vrijedan malo penjanja?

Is Marjan  hill worth the hike? It sure it. Moreover, if you ask me it is also worth the hype. In a recent post (read it here ), I provided you with a google map link and explained to you how to get to the point where you can enjoy the best view of the city  (and while you are at it, why not discover an old church that is located only 200 meters from it?) Today I will do something even better. I will show you how to get there. Our starting point is the city centre i.e. the famous promenade known locally as 'riva'. From there we will climb to vidilica ( that is the first resting point with  the best view of Split city IMO) and then to the old church I told you about. Finally, we will  climb down to sea level.
