Dressing for formal occassions/ Odijevanje za svečane prilike

Hi, how have you been? I need a little help. This Thursday I have my graduation ceremony (master degree) and I haven't yet decided what to wear. The photographs I'm sharing are from my b.a degree graduation ceremony that was two years ago. My outfit for that day was a no brainier, as I already knew that I would continue my studies so I didn't feel it was a big deal. I went for all black and my main preoccupation was being warm as it was winter. I went for a silk shirt and a black pencil skirt. As simple as it gets. However, this time I would like to wear something a bit more interesting and at the same time I don't want to be over the top as it is not my private celebration. Any suggestions, my friends?

    Ciao Ivana, congratulazioni! Io indosserei qualcosa di colorato visto il periodo che può essere anche solo un accessorio se devi essere molto formale. Hai pensato ad un abitino? magari un tubino semplice con sopra una giacca corta con qualche ricamo o perlina oppure un cardigan nei colori pastello che vanno adesso tipo il rosa cipria o il giallo chiaro? Se preferisci i pantaloni puoi sempre utilizzare un completo ma sotto mettere una maglia particolare: colori, fiori, pizzo (magari non tutti insieme ;-)).     Cestitke draga :-) S obzirom da je crno -bijelo veliki hit ove godine a ujedno i nesto sto svi imamo u ormaru, ja bih se odlucila za tu kombinaciju. Naravno, neki efektniji nakit da razbije monotoniju ili cak neki detalj u nekoj drugoj boji (crvena, denver plava i sl.) :-) Kako god, zasigurno ces zablistati :-) pusa

    La camicia era molto interessante! Potresti mettere una gonna lunga fino al ginocchio, magari in blu con una camicia sempre in seta, bianca o proprio quella che indossi in queste foto e da sopra un cardigan in un colore pastello. Oppure un abitino con giacca sopra! Congratulazioni!

    Čestitam na završenom studiju! :o) Budući da sam i sama nedavno imala promociju, odjenula sam svoju najdražu košulju (električno plave boje - zaviri u moj blog pa se prisjeti ;), tamnoplave traperice i najobičnije salonke. Primjetila sam da su ostale djevojke imale neukusne kombinacije - premale suknjice, minice, haljinice koje su više za izlazak. Odjeni se u skladu s prilikom - svečano, nabaci omiljeni komad nakita i osmijeh na lice :)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
