my cam and me wish you all the best in 2013!

Are you excited about the New Year?  You know what is following right? I wish you all the best in 2013, as much happiness as joy as you can handle and more. Be blessed with all the right things!
Today I'd like to show you a couple  things, first of which is the camera I'm using. What are you plans for this evening? I'be home, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't get dressed up.

1. cam (nikon coolpix p80)
Is there such thing as an addiction to camera? If there is I may have it. I'm sure taking a lot of photographs for someone who only does it as a hobby. If you interested in my photography, you can see some of my works here:

2. outfit(s) post
This is what I wore the other day. I really like this dark pink skirt and I'm really enjoying wearing the shoes I got for Christmas (they came with heat warmers and now I wear that with everything)




and now another outfit featuring the dark pink skirt(because you cannot see it properly in the first two photos)


3. New Yorker:
I bought these above the knee socks (and grey leggins) in New Yorker. I really like them. Who ever brought the above knee socks back in the game: Thank you!



4. Ties
I don't believe I talked about this before, but I'm a big fan of ties. I love to see them on both men and women. My nation is credited with inventing them, so there is a nice excuse to wear them. For a low coast way of getting a tie, there are a few, so let's just name two:
 - you can just "steal" it from somebody (boyfriend, a random guy  or a member of family),
- you can buy it in a second hand shop.

    never thought, that you have a "New Yorker" Shop in your city - interessting. In my city there is also a Shop. I´m shopping there sometimes - in the past i found some great clothes.

    But i dont wear knee socks - i wearing just tights/pantyhose all the time.

THE WILD GIRLS, A STORY BY URSULA K. LE GUIN (REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION)

Hello fellow bloggers and/or blog readers! In this post, I'll share my review for Ursula K. Le Guin short story The Wild Girls . Published in 2011, this powerful short story tells a touching tale of slavery , trauma , loss and survival. Sisterly love is at the core of this immensely sad, complex and profound story. If you want to read an intelligent and multifaceted story focused on female characters, and set in a dystopian society, look no further. Don't expect a happy ending, though! This is not that kind of story. I actually listened to this short story (that isn't so short, it sorts of feels like a novella). I planned to listen to it while I do Pilates, but I wasn't aware of how serious and tragic the story truly was. I've read an awful lot of Le Guin's writing, so I know her writing can be ambitious, complex and challenging. SHADOW AND BONE BY LEIGH BARDUGO (BOOK REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I shall review Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo ,  the first novel in the Shadow and Bone trilogy. Published in 2012, Shadow and Bone is a young adult fantasy novel featuring a young female protagonist Alina Starkov who tries to find her way in a world troubled by war and class divisions. The novel is set in Ravka, a fantasy world inspired by feudal Russia, but still unique in its own way. The world Alina Starkov inhabits has its own mythology and magic, and the worldbuilding is quite interesting. For example, there are Grishas, people who have magical powers, that are partly based on study of science and partly on instinct. It's actually one of my favourite seasonal transitions, because it allows us to easily play with layers and textures.
