With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.  The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Sights to see, Places to visit: Lake Blidinje/ Mjesta za posjetiti, znamenitosti za vidjeti : jezero Blidinje

Today we shall talk about Lake Blidinje. As the name would imply, this lake is located in the nature park Blidinje. It is the largest mountain lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located at an elevation of 1.885 meters (3.888 feet). I personally haven't seen a mountain lake of this size before. There is something almost surreal about seeing a lake in mountains, especially at this kind of altitude. I wonder is anyone  brave enough to swim in there. Maybe I will dare it some other time. This lake isn't very deep, its maximal dept is about 3 meters and its average dept is only 0.5 m. Its width and length are a bit over 2 km, but these two can vary depending on weather conditions. I can tell you that this lake was a very impressive sight. Anyhow, you will get to tour it too, at least virtually, because today I will show you lake Blidinje from different angles. Pearls, sneakers and a new haircut / Biseri, tenisice i nova frizura

They say pearls match everything, don't they? Well, why not try pairing them with sneakers? I love pairing dresses with sneakers because I'm all about that causal yet feminine chic. If I can have a bit of pattern mixing (for example striped sneakers with floral dress), why then I turn into a blissfully happy girl. If I can be comfortable and still feel dressed up, well then I don't have anything else to ask for in my style voyage.  Colours, patterns, mix of styles.... all these elements came together to create the kind of outfit I feetl best in.  What else can I say? I felt pretty darn good wearing this. New haircut made me feel even better. When you feel like you can’t change anything, change your hairstyle. It might give you a new perspective.  Hello! In this post, I'll take you to Saint Julian's on Malta. Saint Julian's is a touristic town that is perhaps best described as a mix of traditional and new. The contrast is quite dramatic, you can literally see ancient ruins next to high skyscrapers. As you stroll Saint Julian's, you might even feel like you've wondered upon a construction site, as new skyscrapers seem to be rising continuously. Still, despite all of continuous construction and urban development, Saint Julian's has kept some of its old charm and remains a popular tourist site. Located only about ten kilometers north from Valletta , St. Julian's is a great place to visit. Here you'll see old traditional fishing boats located next to restaurants and night clubs. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!

Happy International Women's Day! Isn't it wonderful that there is a special day to celebrate us? I have such fond memories of this day and I always find myself looking forward to it.  When my brother and I were little, we would always find an almond tree and bring a beautiful almond branch full of blossoms to my mother.  I still associate this day with almond blossoms and not with other more conventional floral options. When we were a bit older, we could just buy flowers, but those pre-school days of looking for flowers seem more fun in retrospective. Do you have any fond memories connected with this day? I'm actually in Croatia right now and I will stay here for the next week or so. On my blog, we will celebrate this day with some art sharing.
