Today it's raining cats and dogs so I'm sharing some old photos. I suspect you won't mind as the location (Kravice Falls, BiH) is stunning.

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.
Hello! In this post, I'll take you to Saint Julian's on Malta. Saint Julian's is a touristic town that is perhaps best described as a mix of traditional and new. The contrast is quite dramatic, you can literally see ancient ruins next to high skyscrapers. As you stroll Saint Julian's, you might even feel like you've wondered upon a construction site, as new skyscrapers seem to be rising continuously. Still, despite all of continuous construction and urban development, Saint Julian's has kept some of its old charm and remains a popular tourist site. Located only about ten kilometers north from Valletta , St. Julian's is a great place to visit. Here you'll see old traditional fishing boats located next to restaurants and night clubs. I myself was taken to Saint Julian's by a friend. We strolled around and talked for hours. I really took this place in, you might say. One of the things in life I was blessed is a good memory. I can bring that evening to
Hello! In this post, I'll take you back to Split city to share a book review and an outfit post. I'll review a book that made be both cry and laugh. You could say I believe in fate. Never has fate seemed more obvious to me than when it comes to books. So many times in my life has a book arrived at the right time! Every time that happened, I would wonder: 'What are the odds of that?' There's a whole story behind how I bought this book, and I will share a more detailed account soon. Until then, I'll give you a short version. I googled events in Split city and saw there was a promotion at Split city library. I have to say this was the best book promotion I have ever attended for a number of reasons. I'll get back to them as I don't have time to go in detail right now. I'm literally typing this on my cellphone, sitting in a café in Split city. What kind of novel is this? Written in Dalmatian dialect, an autobiographical novel by Croatian author Venera
Today we shall talk about Lake Blidinje. As the name would imply, this lake is located in the nature park Blidinje. It is the largest mountain lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located at an elevation of 1.885 meters (3.888 feet). I personally haven't seen a mountain lake of this size before. There is something almost surreal about seeing a lake in mountains, especially at this kind of altitude. I wonder is anyone brave enough to swim in there. Maybe I will dare it some other time. This lake isn't very deep, its maximal dept is about 3 meters and its average dept is only 0.5 m. Its width and length are a bit over 2 km, but these two can vary depending on weather conditions. I can tell you that this lake was a very impressive sight. Anyhow, you will get to tour it too, at least virtually, because today I will show you lake Blidinje from different angles. These photographs were taken on two locations, one right next to the lake and the second one a bit higher above (on those phot
EN Hello! Today I'm happy to share with you a wonderful fashion show I attended last Friday at Mostar International Fair. As you might remember, I regularly visit Mostar International Fair. Anyhow, this time I was there to see and support a really special fashion show. This fashion show showed creations from students who attended a fashion sewing and design course held by designer Stanka Zovko. If you remember, a few years back I attended this sewing and design course myself. I was invited to present my creations as well. I couldn't participate myself this year due to previous engagements, but who knows maybe next year I'll get the chance. How amazing would it be to participate as a fashion designer? Still, I'm sure you can imagine how excited I was just to attend this fashion show and see all the designs. It was such a terrific experience. HR Zdravo!
Zavala was love at first sight. I can still see its beautiful beaches and crystal clear sea when I close my eyes. Such a serene place to be! I visited Zavala about two months ago (in April) when we finally managed to find some time for a short visit. I have never visited prior to that day, despite having roots on the island. However, since I'm currently living on island Hvar, I really have no excuse to miss out on exploring Zavala. Zavala je bila ljubav na prvi pogled. Još uvijek mogu vidjeti njene prekrasne plaže i kristalno more kada zatvorim oči. You can get to Zavala from Jelsa in no time. The road is a bit challenging and narrow at times (often the case
Hello dear readers! If you would like to visit a fascinating historical settlement, you've come to the right place. Today I'm taking you to Ston, Croatia! We visited Ston town back in March 2023. As was the case with our last visit to Ston six years ago, this too was an unplanned visit, a spur of the moment thing. My aunt and uncle were there for a Seafood festival, so we drove to Ston to meet them. We enjoyed a nice walk and grabbed a cup of coffee with them. We didn't have the time to linger or to join the food festival. My working hours are insane this year and the work never seems to end. At the same time, the prices of living are skyrocketing, so despite being exhausted, I'm always looking for additional work. So, as you can imagine I was very grateful for this short trip and a little break. The weather was simply perfect, sunny and warm. I do love that about the Mediterranean climate- you can count on it to deliver those perfect sunny days as early as March! On
I don't usually take a lot of photos with my smartphone, because the quality is not that great but looking back at photos taken these two last months, there are some that I'd like to share.... Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you? Today I'll show you twenty ways to wear a pair of heeled white sandals. You know I'm into sustainable fashion and one of the best ways to be more green is to make the most out of our closet. Anyhow, I purchased these white leather sandals with wood heels back in 2016. I was attracted to this pair immediately. What impressed me in particular was the unique heel design. I got a lot of wear of this white pair. I always enjoy wearing these sandals because they are not only chic but also surprisingly comfortable. However, when one of the clasps broke, I retired these sandals. This summer I found them in my closet and decided to fix them and make them a part of my outfits again. I wore them quite a few times this summer already and I already have plans for incorporating them in my Autumn looks by layering them with socks, stockings and tights. Scroll down to see how I wore them this summer as well as to see some of my older styli
When we talk about travelling outfits, comfort is definitely something we need to consider. Everyone wants to be comfortable when travelling, right? As much as visiting a certain town or resort can be fun and relaxing, the process of getting there might be a little stressful. Comfort is definitely important. However, the thing is that everyone has a different definition of comfort. Some ladies might feel perfectly comfortable in a dress, while others might prefer the typical jeans and tee outfit formula. Sure, it makes sense to follow some rules. Opting for practical and utility wear might make your life easier when travelling. Similarly, wearing breathable, comfortable and natural fabrics in summer makes sense. However, what if you have a fabulous polyester vintage item you're dying to wear? You know, if that vintage polyester item makes you feel good, wearing it probably makes sense. When it comes to summer travel style, being reasonable and practical is important. Howe
