I'll be frank, I'm not a beauty expert. Howeever, ocassionaly I do get some ideas for make-up and nails, so why not share them with you? I think that blue and gold go well together. I did something similar with red and gold nailpolish in one of my posts. If you're looking for a festive nail idea, why not try this one? I still have gold fever as you can see:)

 Hello dear readers! In this post, I'll share my impressions from Miro Gavran 's book promotion. Miro Gavran is an established Croatian author that  I hold in high esteem. My outfit proposal of the day is a casual one. I feel that not too long ago a blazer worn with jeans wouldn't have been exactly my first choice, especially paired with dad's sneakers, but times are changing. I was thinking about why I like tartan pattern so much, when one reason crossed my mind. With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.  The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Belluci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing). Ruffles are here to stay! Is it just me or have printed ruffle skirts really been trending this summer? I keep seeing printed ruffled skirts around, especially in midi length. I really like this trend so I prepared my own styling suggestion. My outfit proposal of the day is all about styling a ruffle skirt so it's suitable for every day wear, but it still looks a bit dressed up (which is basically something I'm always trying to achieve because I like to feel a bit dressed up). Anyhow, I paired this ruffle skirt with a printed t- shirt I got from my aunt. I do like the print: 'Awesome's girls club'. It's sounds like a club I would like to join! Perhaps I should start one? What to wear when you're travelling? In summer, I often opt for print dresses because they are fun and seem to go well with anything. I packed quite a few printed dresses for my visit to island Hvar (Croatia). As long as the dresses are comfortable, they are my 'go to' travel outfit. This mixed print dress is one of my favourite travel summer dresses. You have seen me wear it a lot on this blog, especially for hiking and sightseeing (and you know I believe in shopping one's closet). It's a great day to night dress as well, quite easy to dress up and down. My outfit proposal of the day is more casual in tone so you could said that I dressed the dress down.
