      for the first dress I had a very precise idea of a dress with colourful feathers that I wish I could make:) the other two are just items of clothing and accessories I really like like midi skirts and berets. I guess I get inspired everywhere and I always have a lot of ideas of what could look well together.

WHAT I WORE FOR MIRO GAVRAN'S BOOK PROMOTION IN MOSTAR

 Hello dear readers! In this post, I'll share my impressions from Miro Gavran 's book promotion. Miro Gavran is an established Croatian author that  I hold in high esteem. So, when I saw then he was coming to Mostar, I knew I had to be there, no matter how long my work day had been. Anyway, I'll also share with you what I wore to this book promotion. What you wear for book promotions? I attend book promotions quite often and I suppose I dress somewhat formal for them (example here ).  I'm a Renaissance woman at heart. I remember how one of my professors (Slobodan Prosperov Novak) told me that in Renaissance people would get dressed up before they stepped into their libraries. They thought that one should dress up to be in presence of books. For, books are a collection of knowledge and art. So, dressing up to be in presence of knowledge and art makes perfect sense.  Hello, there! In this post, I'll show you my tips for styling statement balloon sleeves. I'll also add in a book review, because (to paraphrase) Oscar Wilde and Coco Chanel, a girl who should be four things: classy, fabulous, overdressed and overeducated.   Wilde was known to be a dandy. The book I'm reviewing is titled Dandy, so there's a connection. Therefore, I'm combing these two quotes. Wilde famously said he makes up for being overdressed by being overeducated and Chanel said that a girl should be classy and fabulous.  So, we shall combine outfit posts with book posts because being well read is basically the same as being well educated. Back in Mostar city (outfit post) / Ponovo u Mostaru (odjevna objava)

Today I'm showing you another way to style this white dress I received from dresslink . You can see my first outfit here . This time I wore a vintage midi skirt over the dress, so I've basically turned it  into a blouse. I wore a vintage scarf over it and  accessorized with massive earrings and many bracelets to create a bit of the ethic/ traditinal vibe. To finish this look, I opted for a gold minibag and matching heels. As far as photograph goes, the shooting took place at two difference locations. One is in a small village named Vihovići, that is located in vicinity of Mostar and from this place you have a wonderful panorama of beautiful Mostar city. I was thinking about why I like tartan pattern so much, when one reason crossed my mind. I figured that it probably has something to do with the history and the culture behind this particular pattern. Startas (outfit post/ odjevna kombinacija)

Startas sneakers. 'There is only one problem', I said to myself after I bought them, 'How am I supposed to want to take them off my feet when they're so damn comfortable?'. I resolved that problems by wearing them every day for a whole week and returning to my heels collection only after  I started to miss it. However, startas will from now on be a regural feature on this blog as I plan to wear them at least once a week (they are a great choice for Summer). In this outfit I paired them with this moda in dress that was featured on this blog at least a dozen times and my new necklace.  Speaking of which, I'm working on a new jewellery collection. I'm thinking of making it available for sale here on my blog. What do you think? A SECRET LAKE IN MOSTAR CITY (HIKING OUTFIT PROPOSAL)

Did you know there is a hidden lake in Mostar city? Well, now you do know. What is a point in being an insider if not to share some insider tips, right? Surprisingly, this lovely lake is quite unknown. Calling it a secret wouldn't be going to far. However, finding it is not really that difficult, if you know what you're looking for. I would definitely recommend visiting this gorgeous lake if you ever happen to visit Mostar city. This beautiful lake isn't man made. It wasn't planned or anything like that. It's basically river Neretva coming through old mining canals. There is also some underground water in this area, but this lake is probably composed entirely of Neretva river (it's on about the same level as the river). Many bird families have found their home there. It is a very serene place. Very few people visit it. We visited this place a few time on my blog but when a place is this magical you want to return to it. As you (regular readers) know, I absolutely love island Hvar. Not only do I have roots there, but I have spent a considerable  amount of time on this magical island.
