Different ways to style a pair of leggings.... (with Jennifer as a guest blogger)

Hello everyone. Today I have a guest on my blog. It is Jennifer, whom you may remember from the interview I did with her and published on my blog (here). She had an idea for another post, in which the two of us would show you different outfits with the same item of clothing (in this case we agreed that the item of clothing will be leggings). I liked this idea because I'm a firm believer in 'shopping our closets' mainly because I believe that the best clothes are often those we already have. Moreover, by styling our clothes in different ways, we're actually even helping the environment just by being less wasteful with clothes. I've put together 3 outfits wearing the same leggings and she prepared 7 outfits for you. So, if you're interested in seeing how we styled our leggings, scroll down.

"First of all I wanna say, that i love working together with Ivana and I'm so glad that our new Blog-Project comes to life - that means a lot to me! The question was, with which kind of clothing we wanna start. Actually that was easy to answer. We both love leggings, that is why we decided to show you our leggings-combos. I got over a dozen combos, but on that I wear different kinds of leggings. In this article lies the focus on my black leather-leggings and on my pics below you can see me in several fashion-styles.

I really like leather-leggings, because they are stylish and has ever a little shiny touch on it. Fortunately leggings are a piece of clothing for the daily use, so you can wear they all day - I love that a lot!
I hope you enjoy my leggings-combos."

That was the text from Jennifer. I hope you liked our little collaboration. You can visit Jennifer's blog here. What do you think about this type of posts? Would you like to see more of them?

  6. What a great collab between you and Jennifer. Ivana you are so right girl, the best clothes are the ones we already have. Lately I've shopped my closet a whole lot and each piece I find surprises me and works better than the prior. Leggings have definitely become a wardrobe staple. So versatile and a go to for me as well. I love love what you both did with it. Awesome.

  15. Both of you styled them really well. Jennifer's got great legs and she wore them in so many cool ways. Your patterned leggings are cool and I like the way they are the 'feature' of some outfits and a bit more subdued in others- clever!x

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

CROATIAN FASHION WEEK: MATEYANEIRA FASHION ILLUSTRATION IN WATERCOLOUR

I can't really attend fashion weeks because I work full time, but with the help of the internet I get to follow fashion weeks digitally. One of the benefits of living in digital times, I guess. If you remember, I have already shared a number of fashion illustrations inspired by  spring/summer fashion weeks on this little blog of mine ( Valentino Spring Collection 20191 & 2, Zuhair Murad Spring Ready To Wear 2019 collection1 & 2Louis Vuitton Spring Collection 2019 ). Please don't click the links to buy the illustrations, they won't lead you anymore as my art store was lost and it will take me a while to manually remove all the links (I'll explain this later on in this post, for now let's concentrate on positive things like this cute new fashion painting I'll share with you and the design that inspired it).
I was a bit late with catching with Croatian fashion week because I've been busy with work. About a week or so ago, I finally found the time…

IS MOSTAR A GOOD EASTER DAY DESTINATION? PLUS A SPRING OUTFIT PROPOSAL

Luckily for me, Mostar is an excellent Easter day destination. You see, I had travel plans for this Easter weekend, but I caught a bad cold so I decided to stay in the city I'm currently based in. That's actually not a bad thing because (if you ask me) Mostar makes for a great Easter day destination. Naturally, I've would have loved to visit my family, but since that wasn't possible, I'm happy to be spending Easter in Mostar. I've already cleaned and decorated my home for Easter so I'm all set. I've also prepared an outfit proposal but more about that later on. First I'll talk a bit about Mostar. Why is Mostar such a great spring destination? I can think of a number of reasons, but from top of my head I would say wonderful climate, beautiful landmarks and interesting history. Mostar is gorgeous in spring time. With its seven rivers and a number of lovely parks, Mostar can feel like a city oasis.

Spending Easter in Mostar is something I would defin…

TROGIR CITY (PART TWO): KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND OTHER SIGHTS

KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND FORTRESS

As I promised in my last post, my description of  wonderful Trogir city continues. Today I'll show you the city's promenade, its walls and a historical fortress Kamerlengo. We'll start with the latter, as it is one of the main attractions. Castle and fortress Kamerlengo was designed and constructed in the fifteenth century by a local Croatian builder and sculptor known as Martin Radoj. Martin also worked on some of the Gothic elements of Trogir city cathedral and later on in life he was entrusted with the construction of Trogir port. The fortress was commissioned by the Republic of Venice, hence its name 'camelengo ' that is an Italian version of chamberlain. I didn't go inside of  Kamerlengo fortress this time because I've been there before so I just enjoyed observing it from the outside. Besides the Kamerlengo castle, today I'll also show you the city walls and other details from Trogir. Enjoy.

Once again, here is a li…
