Black diamond engagement ring (sponsored post)

source http://www.jeulia.com/black-diamond-engagement-ring.html

Have I ever shared with you the story about my engagement ring? It is not a classic story, my husband didn't kneel and offer this ring to me while simultaneously asking me to be his wife but the moment was romantic nevertheless. My engagement ring is silver with a red stone that isn't precious. It is not worth much, but for me it is irreplaceable and its sentimental value makes it absolutely precious. There is an interesting story that comes with my engagement ring. We bought it from a Romani Jeweler at the International trade fair in Mostar.  It was when we bought the next ring from him a few years later that he had told us the story of his childhood. He grew up in the region of Bosnia and while he was a young child ,he made friends with a local Jewish jeweler. Because this jeweler has no children of his own, he decided to adopt him. The jeweler who became his father, taught him the jewelry craft and when he died, he left his business to him. This story really warmed my heart and I often think about it when I look at my engagement ring. This man also invited us to be his guests and come to visit him and some day we might do just that.

What I want to say is that an engagement ring is something really special. It tells a love story and love stories are always magical. When choosing an engagement ring, remember that it is something that you will hold dear forever. I think it is important to buy something that we genuinely like. Recently I was contacted by an online jewelry store ( http://www.jeulia.com/) to write about their products. I found the story about the origin of their company very interesting. As they write in their company history info, it was founded by a couple. When they were classmates studying jewelry design it was their dream to have their own jewelry store. Each year for the anniversary of their relationship, they gave one another plastic rings. When they realized their dream and founded this company, they got married. Isn't that sweet and romantic?

Anyhow, I decided to write about black diamond engagement rings because I simply adore black jewelry pieces. You might  have noticed that I love colour when it comes to my personal style. However, when it comes to jewelry, I always believed that black jewelry is immensely powerful. There is something mysterious about it, something timeless. As they say, when in doubt wear black. Well, I rarely do that, but I do like to wear black jewerly. It seems to go with everything and it makes me feel glam. I have prepared for you a collage of black diamond rings from this site. You can see more of them,  if you follow this link. The goal of this company is to provide all couples with an opportunity to own unique yet affordable jewerly pieces. Their selection is really impressive, so if you feel like shopping for yourself or for others, keep Jeulia in mind.

  21. I personally don't care if the engagement ring is expensive or not, what matters most is the meaning and the sentiment behind the ring. This website reached out to me too and I saw some really lovely rings on their site.

  26. They are very cool. Look like props from Game of Thrones. The stone I picked for my class ring in high school was onyx because I found it cool, mysterious and reflective of the desperate pit of hopelessness high school was to me. Very cool stories.

February recap / sažetak veljače

You have seen (more or less) what was February like for me. Now tell me... what was February like for you? Are you happy that it's already March or do you feel like time is flying too fast? Are you looking forward to the spring?

As far as blogging goes, it seems that I have became more focused on fashion illustrations. In the next month the illustrations will have their place, but there will be more focus on DIY....or at least I think so, because I'm kind of heading in that direction. Apart from that, I have no plans. I have so many ideas when it comes to what I want to blog about, that I often have hard time deciding what not to include. As always, feel free to write about what you would like to see.

Wearing the First Dress I Ever Made: A Grey Midi Dress

Here it is: the first dress I have ever made entirely by myself. I did make some summer dresses in the past, but I had sown them without a pattern and a sewing machine and at any rate I wouldn't call them very accomplished. I mean, they weren't nearly as polished as this dress and they were not nearly as complex to make. I'm very happy with how this dress turned out. I'm even happier I took this sewing course in the first place because now I can make more dresses like this one! If you remember my November highlights post, you might remember that I've mentioned how I've recently finished a beginning fashion tailoring and sewing course with designer Stanka Zovko.

I promised to show you the dress I made for my course 'graduation'. At the end of this lovely sewing course, you get to choose not only what you're going to make, but also the material and the pattern.  The sewing pattern is typically chosen from one of the sewing magazines this designer has …

How To Style Animal Print? + An Autumnal Fairy Tale at Ethno Village Near Medugorje

With winter at our doorstep, I think it's important to make the most out of the left over autumn days. With that in mind, my husband and I payed another visit to our favourite (still not officially opened!) ethno village in vicinity of Medugorje. I wrote about this eco/ethno village a number of times, so if you want to know more (or just see more photographs) feel free to check out my old posts herehereherehere and here.  Autumn is Herzegovina is always gorgeous, and this year hasn't been an exception. We had some sudden weather changes and drastic changes of temperature, but I would still describe this autumn as a beautiful one. The Sunday this photographs were taken on was rather gorgeous, so I'm certainly glad we went on this little trip. I know I'm repeating myself, but I do cherish moments like this. Every time I step into this little village, I feel as if the time has stopped or rather like I have just travelled in time. It's such a charming place! I h…
