Nature park Blidinje (BIH)

My internet connection is really bad so I'll keep this one short, at least as far as the text goes. The photos were taken a few years ago and I have shared some of the photos from this trip before so I guess this is post no.2 about Blidinje.
Internetska veza mi je loša pa će ovaj post biti kratak barem što se teksta tiče. Fotografije su od prije par godina i već sam podijelila neke fotografije sa ovog izleta pa se može reći da je ovo drugi post o Blidinju.

This sort of freedom is not chaos nor anarchy/ Ova vrsta slobode nije ni kaos ni anarhija

It came to me as a surprise that people used to (and maybe still do) walk out of this play. Tennessee Williams has written many beautiful plays but I have to admit this one has a special meaning for me. Tastes are not to be debated, they say? But what is there to debate if not our tastes? By that I mean that there is nothing wrong in discussing what we like and what we don't...However, this post will not turn into a discussion of the book. It is just that ....Tonight I'm rereading it...and rereading a book is somewhat like catching up with your old friend, isn't it? A reason for celebration even?

What particularly captured my attention tonight was what Tennessee said about the process of creation. 'Freedom is not achieved simply by working freely.' We are often not aware of how much effort goes into creating something. I would even go so far as to say that there is a great mystery in the process of creation...and perhaps it shouldn't be any other way around.

"Moja želja bila je dati mojoj publici moj vlastiti osjećaj nečega divljeg i neobuzdanog, nečega što teče kao rijeka u planinama ili  kao što su oblaci što mijenjaju oblik pred naletom snažnog vjetra ili kao neprestalno promjenjive i transformirajuće slike sna. Ova vrsta slobode nije ni kaos ni anarhija. Naprotiv, to je rezultat jako pažljivog osmišljavanja, i u ovom djelu ja sam uložio puno više pozornosti na formu i konstrukciju nego u ikojem djelu prije. Iznenadilo me čuti da su ljudi izlazili (a možda) još izlaze s ove predstave. Tenessee Williams je napisao brojne prekrasne drame, ali ova moram priznati ima posebno značenje za mene. Kažu da se o ukusima ne raspravlja? Ali o čemu da raspravljamo ako ne o našim ukusima? Time mislim da nema ništa lošeg u tome da raspravljamo o onome što nam se sviđa i što nam se ne sviđa. Ipak, ovaj se post neće pretvoriti u raspravu o knjizi. Radi se o tome da je večeras ponovo čitam, a ponovno čitanje knjige je kao susret sa starim prijateljem, zar ne? Možda čak i razlog za slavlje?

Ono što mi je posebno privuklo pozornost večeras je što je Tennessee rekao o procesu stvaranja. "Sloboda nije ostvariva samo time što radimo na slobodan način."  Često nismo svjesni koliko truda ide u stvaranje nečega. Čak bi rekla da je samom procesu stvaranja pristuan misterij...i možda tako i treba biti.

I've made this video primarily to see how long (on average) it takes me to do a fashion illustration. There are two of them and the video is about 3 minutes so that would be about a minute and a half per one. Scroll down to see how it looks once it's coloured. (I've started making a video of the colouring but my battery died)
. Have you started to think about the spring? I certainly have despite the fact that this morning it was so cold that I though my brain will freeze or something, I regretted not wearing a hat. Soon you'll see some fashion illustrations inspired by the spring.

Napravila sam ovaj video najviše da bi vidjela koliko mi u prosjeku treba da završim modnu ilustaciju. Ovdje su dvije, a video traje oko 3 minuta pa to znači oko minutu i po za jednu. Dolje je fotografije završene ilustracije. Jeste li počele razmišljati o proljeću? Tko nije? Ja sigurno jesam, iako je jutros bilo toliko hladno da sam požalila što nisam ponijela šešir (imala sam osjećaj da će mi mozak smrznuti), a uskoro ćete vidjeti i neke modne ilustracije nadahnute proljećem.

Beauty review / Recenzija kozmetičkog proizvoda

Catrice eye brow set was a Christmas gift. I have been using it since I have got it (almost 3 months, long enough to form my opinion). I really like that it contains tweezers (functioning ones), a brush and a mirror. It's terribly practical to have all that in one product.

Catrice set za obrve je bio božični poklon. Koristim ga otkako sam ga dobila (skoro tri  mjeseca, sasvim dovoljno za stjecanje mišljenja). Sviđa mi se što se unutar pakiranja nalazi i zrcalo, pinceta (začuđujuće dobro radi) te kist. Jako je praktično što je sve u jednom.

I've found it easy to use. Whether you go for a subtle or a dramatic look, you'll be satisfied,  both are quite easy to achieve. It doesn't stay on all day, the intensity does fade  a bit after about 5 hours. As you can see, there are two shades. I prefer the darker ones as my eyebrows are black, but the blonds I know have told them they find the seemingly grey one quite sadisfactory.

Lako je za korištenje. Lako se postiže i dramatičan i suptilan izgled obrva, pa što god vam je draže, biti ćete zadovoljni. Ne stoji baš cijeli dan, intenzivitet dosta oslabi nakon nekih pet sati. Kao što možete vidjeti, dva su sjenila. Meni više odgovara tamnije jer su mi obrve crne, ali od plavokosih sam čula da su zadovoljne sa ovim naizgled sivkastim.

I hope that was enough of photographs. All in all, I'm happy with this product. The price is affordable and it is available here (I've seen that some American beauty bloggers complain that it is available only in Europe. I hope that will change and that they will start shipping)

Nadam se da je to bilo dovoljno fotografija. Sve u svemu zadovoljna sam s ovim proizvodom. Cijena je pristupačna, ali vidjela sam da se neke američke blogerice žale da nije dostupan tamo nego samo u Europi. Možda će se i to promijeniti.

This and that /Ovo i ono

I'm going to start this post with some photographs that I have taken today (on my way to the supermarket). These flowers really made my day. It was raining most of the day but seeing these flowers reminded me that the spring is almost here. I was thinking whether I should edit these photographs or not but didn't cared for how my signature looked on them, somehow it ruined it for me. I decided not to edit them. With editing it's like with make up. Less is often more and if you don't know what you're doing better keep it simple.

Početi ću ovaj post sa nekoliko fotografija koje sam uslikala danas (opet šetajući do supermarketa). Behar me stvarno oraspoložio. Kiša je padala je veći dio dana, ali kada sam vidjela behar, odmah mi je bilo lakše. Znam da će skoro proljeće. Razmišljala sam o tome da obradim ove fotografije, ali sam odustala jer mi se nije sviđalo kako izgleda moj potpis nekako mi upropasti sve, a nisam ih nikako ni obrađivala. S obradom fotografija je kao sa šminkom. Manje je više i ako nisi sigurna što radiš, drži se jednostavnosti.

I haven't really shared any photos of the meals I prepare yet. Odd perhaps taken the fact I prepare two to three meals every day (and lots of desserts). The reason I guess is that I never use a recipe. I always improvise when I'm cooking. For me it is a matter of inspiration and spur of the moment thing. When people ask me how I have prepared something, all I can do is tell them the ingredients. It's not that I don't like to share my 'cooking secrets', it's just that I don't remember how I prepared something half of the time, especially if it is a dish I have practically invented. Is that the case with you? Or do you prefer to follow the recipe? Would you like to see more photographs of food on this blog? Sometimes I'm not sure what to include in my posts. There are so many things that I'm interested in and would care to talk about...still I would like some structure. So, what is your verdict? Should food become a part of this blog or not?
