Jadrolinija ferry ride, travelling from Split to island Hvar (outfit post)
Science proved that life on Earth originated in the sea but in our hearts we must have always felt it. Why otherwise would we feel so inspired by the sea? Who of us has not felt his or her heart opening up while mesmerized by the deep blueness of sea? Is it an echo of an oceanic birth of life? Is it our soul that wanders enchanted towards that greatest mystery? We feel the song of the sea, even when we don't understand it. These look similar to the 'moon' biscuits we make every Christmas - using my Czech grandmother's recipe. Do yours have ground almond in them? They taste so good when they are still warm and have just been dipped in icing sugar. Happy baking. And thank you for your recent very thoughtful comments - I really appreciate them. I hope you enjoy a wonderful Christmas.

DeleteI wish you a wonderful Christmas too!
so nice and cut!
ReplyDeleteI´m sure dear Ivana, that your cakes are really yummy! And interesting that you always improvise, this is what I mostly do when I cook :) To be honest I´m too lazy at the moment for baking ;)
