Uradi sam "nadahnimo se brojevima" / DIY "be inspired by numbers"

Prvo smo oslikali (zajedno smo držali kist većinu vremena) jednu moju staru košulju, a zatim i njegovu majicu.

Today DIY is all about making my two and half nephew happy. He is crazy about numbers so we painted some numbers on his t- shirt and my shirt. So this is basically painting on clothes. What do you need for a project like this one? I've already written about this but I'll repeat. You need special paint and the kind that is suitable for painting not the kind to colour clothes. ( it is not expressive, about 2.5 euros plus it will last you for a long time because you don't have to use a lot. In fact this is an extremely low cost DIY)

step 1. Find the item of clothing suitable for this DIY. In my experience,  almost any material will do but the silk and the wool. Read the instructions if you want to know more.

Step 2. Take a brush and dip it into the paint. Paint whatever you imagined, just make sure you  put something under( a book in my case) so the colour doesn't get on the other side of the shirt or whatever item of clothing you have selected. If you been reading my previous DIY posts, you might have noticed that I often do this kind of thing on an ironing desk)

Step 3. Wait for it to dry for about an hour. That's it! Put it in the closet or wear it right away.

As I said, I also painted some numbers on my nephew's tee or better to say we painted it because my nephew was holding the brush as well. So basically, we did the painting or writing whatever you want to call it together. On the photograph below is his tee that we painted.

My nephew really enjoyed this DIY as you can imagine. This is a really fun activity to do with a child. It is also good for their cognitive development. Anyway, I highly recommend doing something like this with your loved ones.   I know we are all overworked and stressed often, but we must remember to dedicate time to one another and that especially goes dedicating time to the children. If you are a parent or  you're taking care of somebody's child, take the time and the effort and include them into activities, find the things you can do together that are suitable for that child's age and capabilities. Remember, fashion can also be all about fun. It is all up to you. Life is what we make of it.

Thank you for taking the time to read this or to skim through it- no hard feelings if you haven't read carefully;)

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.
