Today it's raining cats and dogs so I'm sharing some old photos. I suspect you won't mind as the location (Kravice Falls, BiH) is stunning.
Danas pada kiša kao iz kabla, pa ću podijelit neke stare slike. Mislim da vam neće smetat jer je lokacija ( slapovi Kravice u Hercegovini) uistinu prekrasna.

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
Good morning, dear readers! Today I have a new spring outfit to present to you. I wore this spring styling for a coffee date with my husband. We walked around the town and enjoyed a lovely spring day. What town you might ask? The location for the post is lovely Mostar city and the designed photographer my husband. Mostar is always lovely but especially so in the Spring time. I always repeat that Spring is the best time to visit Mostar. Speaking of Mostar, the capital of Herzegovina, one shouldn't forget other visit worthy locations in this region. Herzegovina is simply dreamy in Spring time. I will link a few up for those who might be interested, so don't worry. W HAT TO SEE IN HERZEGOVINA? THESE TWO FORTRESSES AND NATIONAL PARKS- 2023 // AMAZING CITIES TO VISIT IN HERZEGOVINA-2019 // PROTECTED AREAS IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA- 2019 SPRING IN MOSTAR CITY I'm finally getting better in linking up things. I do it for myself, as well. I used to blog a lot, and I simply for
Hello! Spring break is officially over for me. Today was my second day back at work and I'm exhausted. The first day was fun, we've all happy to see one another again and all that, but the second day tired me out. The end of the week is far away, too. It takes time to get used to working from 7 to 5 again. I divided my Spring break between my favourite three places and two countries: island Hvar & Split (in Croatia) and Mostar (in Bosnia and Herzegovina). I visited an art exhibition and that was fun, too. The art exhibition was by Croatian illustrator Filip Čulić. The exhibition included his illustrations and comic book art. It's open until the end of April, so if you're in Split, check it out (more information here ). I love Split's city library. They always organize fun stuff. There usually is always an exhibition of some kind at the central library. I'm a big fan of libraries. Library membership is the best money you'll ever spend. SLJEDEĆI TEKST J
Welcome Spring! We welcome thy beauty! We also fear thy evil twin- The Spring Fatigue. Like in a telenovela, one rarely comes without the other. Both are inevitable, so let's just welcome the first and try to manage the other until it perishes (in a slow motion) in a fatal car accident. That's what always happened in the Latin soap operas (i.e telenovelas) that were all the rave when I was a kid (and that are the reason why many Croatian people have a pretty good passive understanding of Spanish without even learning it in school, but I digress). My point is that the beautiful Spring often comes accompanied with Spring Fatigue that can range from mild tiredness to extreme exhaustion. I mean Spring Fatigue is sometimes impossible to avoid. I googled it as many times as I could, and besides the general advice (sleep, eat and exercise well and so on), I didn't really find too much useful information. I guess we all have to find our ways to take the bad with the good! To all
It was over 40 degrees Celsius (that's over 100 Fahrenheit) when these photographs were taken. Seriously! I'm obviously a desert type when I'm able to enjoy being out at midday in a city that is practically an oven. If you did not know Mostar city is surrounded by mountains and hills which pretty much turns it into an urban oven. Yes, this city is a champion of unbelievably high temperatures during the Summer. So, this hat was as much a necessity as a fashion statement. Wearing a hat when temperature is over 100 Fahrenheit is a sound idea, believe me. Speaking of Fahrenheits, have you read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury? You should, you know, it really is a brilliant dystopian novel. I find it uncanny how much some writers were able to guess the future, down to minute details. Every time when I ponder about our modern society problems and questionable practices, I think of this novel and I realize I'm not crazy. Some things are just wrong and that's the way it
When I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was walk to the kitchen. Naturally, I was there to make coffee (can’t start a day without it) but while I was at it, I decided to also make a nice cup of warm chocolate. I figured that one can’t have too many warm drinks when the weather is misbehaving. Plus, I wanted something to drink right away, and because preparing coffee my style takes a while (wouldn’t be caught dead drinking instant coffee;)) I opted for warm chocolate first and it was nice but I have to remember to make my own instant coffee again, I’m sure that stuff they sell in shops are full of all kinds of unhealthy stuff. Speaking of health, I have had a cold for a week now, my throat is still sore and my vocal cords are in pitiful state. I'm not a big fan of my voice right now, but most people seem to like it. Well, at least I’m unique this way. I can always tell people that I was out partying the previous night. Anyhow, while I was preparing my coffee/hot choco
I'm somewhat of an enthusiast when it comes to wearing summer dresses in autumn and winter. It may have to do with the fact that I enjoy a good challenge. Plus, I really like my dresses so wearing them all year around seems like something worth the effort. Today I'll show you 21 ways to wear this floral mini dress. Most of these outfits I have already shared, but some of them are new. I'm positively sure that I have worn this dress more than thirty times, but as I don't photograph all my outfits, I only have about twenty outfits on record. Let's take a look at them, shall we? HOW TO STYLE A MINI FLORAL DRESS FOR ANY SEASON? 1. WITH A WHITE SHIRT, A LEATHER JACKET AND HIGH BOOTS This outfit proposal is perfect for rainy autumn and winter ways. A leather jacket looks good with everything and a white shirt is always chic. I paired this look with high boots for extra comfort and warmth. The white and brown bag I picked matches both the white shirt and the br
Nature Park Blidinje hides a gem of great beauty: magical lake Blidinje. In the presence of this lake, I found myself overwhelmed by a feeling of complete calmness, perhaps for the first time in many days. Enchanted by its beauty, I walked into the lake. While standing in the lake and gazing into the mountains in the distance, I had a feeling that the time itself halted and the great clock of life stood still. It was a kind of mythical experience, when you feel yourself both small and great before the immense and overwhelming natural beauty. I have always loved mountains, being surrounded by them my all life. Still, there is always something surreal about a mountain lake, a particular kind of beauty. A feeling of sacredness came over me. So many people regard mountains as sacred and I can understand why. Gazing at them while the wind played with my hair, and the sun stroked my skin, awoke a particular feeling inside if me, a state of tranquility, you might say. I believe this fee
Sunny summer days in Mostar city. Simple pleasures in life. The smell of pine trees in the air. (They have a special scent during the Summer. Have you ever noticed that?) Strolling around the city with my significant other. A cup of coffee enjoyed in good company. Simply daily rituals that can be so meaningful. Admiring street air. Finding a reason to smile because as Claudio Baglioni sings life is know (youtube link here ) . Black and white dress worn with colourful sandals (wedges) because as you all know I'm addicted to colours. A simple summer outfit for a simple summer day. A bit of simplicity and putting our mind to rest. Sometimes it is all we need. La vita è adesso. Sunčani ljetni dani u Mostaru. Jednostavni životni užici. Miris borova u zraku. ( Imaju poseban miris ljeti. Jeste li to ikad primijetili?) Šetnja gradom sa drugom polovicom. Šalica kave u dobrom društvu. Jednostavni dnevni ritualni koji mogu biti tako značajni. Divljenje uličnoj umjetnosti. Pronalaž
My Sights to see, places to visit feature would surely be missing something if I didn't include this little village Goranci in the list of places to visit. This charming little village is situated in the vicinity of Mostar. I love to go there to espace the city heat. If you are into cycling, you'd be happy to hear that you can rent a bike for free. You just need to leave your ID in the restaurant Goranci and you can take the bike. There is a wonderful cycling and pedestrian walk so be sure to check it out. As of recently, there is also a beautiful park at your disposal. This park is growing daily as new things are added to it(toys for kids and that sorts of stuff). If you look closely, you'll be able to see that some decorative trees are still being planted at the enterance to this park. You can read some of my previous posts about this village here , here and here . Moja rubrika Znamenitosti za vidjeti, Mjesta za posjetiti ne bih bila potpuna bez Goranaca, malog
